A Warm Welcome: James Moore Celebrates Tallahassee Office Ribbon Cutting
What better way to celebrate new beginnings than with great company, good food and a whole lot of gratitude?
On Thursday, October 2, our James Moore team in Tallahassee had the pleasure of hosting nearly 100 friends, colleagues and community leaders at our ribbon cutting ceremony. Held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., the event marked the official opening of our brand-new, much larger office space and gave us the perfect opportunity to say thank you to a community that’s helped us grow and thrive.
We were honored to welcome several special guests to the celebration, including members of the Tallahassee City Commission and , the chief of staff from the Office of the Mayor, and representatives from all three local chambers of commerce — the Greater Tallahassee Chamber, the Capital City Chamber and the Big Bend Minority Chamber. Their presence meant a lot, and we’re grateful for their continued partnership and support.
We kicked off with a few words from Nadia Batey, the leader of our Tallahassee office, and Suzanne Forbes, our firm’s CEO. Then after some congratulatory remarks from the Greater Tallahassee Chamber, we lined up and cut the ribbon on our new space!
Guests enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres, desserts and drinks catered by Social Catering, while festive flowers and décor from A Country Rose, Tallahassee Balloons and Best Day Ever added charm to the celebration. We had a fantastic time taking our guests on tours of the new office as well.
This wasn’t just any move. Our new location spans 12,000 square feet (nearly triple the size of our previous location)! It’s designed to better serve our clients and give our growing team the room to do what we do best. More importantly, it’s a reflection of our ongoing commitment to Tallahassee and the surrounding region.
It was a joy to see so many familiar faces and meet new friends on such a special day! We’re proud to be part of this community, and we’re excited for what’s ahead. With more space, more resources and the same dedication to our clients and each other, we’re ready to keep moving forward — together.
